The Writer.

Curiosity.

Arrow pointing right

I learned how to research before I learned how to write.

I’ve been naturally curious for as long as I can remember. That curiosity is what has set me apart as a writer, and it’s why I’ve continued writing for businesses. I take the time to understand who you are and what you do. By putting the work in upfront, I can create unique, quality content that accurately markets what you have to offer.

It’s a lot of fun, but it isn’t easy.

How I got here.

My background is in Religion and Philosophy, earning a bachelor’s from Berry College and a master’s from Emory University.

I credit my writing ability to my humanities background. I’ve had amazing mentors who made my papers bleed, picked apart my arguments, and challenged me in ways that have pushed me to stand out as a writer. I’m intensely competitive, and I learned early on I could excel simply by reading and researching more than others. By putting the work in upfront, the pieces essentially write themselves.

After graduate school, I took a job at a marketing agency, learning to apply my technical skills to the wider solution of search engine optimization.

What I love.

My love for learning has led me to so many unexpected passions.

I was a collegiate athlete, running Track & Field and playing Ultimate Frisbee. I’m a lover of film, photography, science fiction, whiskey, coffee, video games, yo-yos, humanities education, watches, and skiing. The list goes on. I always try to make room in my schedule for passion projects.
