Deltia’s Gaming

  • After a massively successful year, BG3 surged to one of the most impactful games for total website page views.

While our strategy is always to siphon readers towards longer "build" pages, I focused on identifying specific quests that would lead toward the largest traffic growth possible.

One of the largest pages generated over 30,000 page views.

  • ESO is the primary game that grew Deltia's website to begin with, but the smaller size of the community resulted in a finite amount of possible growth.

As Deltia transitioned to other games, a major part of my involvement was updating every build for each quarterly patch cycle, covering anywhere between 300k-400k monthly page views.

This meant I helped keep the original core of the website traffic updated, while others could focus efforts elsewhere and look to expand the total website readership.

  • Because of how the industry works, each game individually has a finite amount of possible readers. As a result, the best way to grow is to "plant seeds" for future games, establishing authority before a new game releases. Then, when people begin to search for a game closer to release, there's already an established body of content that supports the higher traffic guides and builds when the game is fully released.

As a smaller part of my work, I published shorter articles for future games, covering press releases and teasers for the community. These included Avowed, Enshrouded, and future Elder Scrolls Online content.

While these types of posts are neither high nor recurring traffic, we identified them as essential for future growth, especially if we were able to get closed beta testing access.
